SPRING FLING RESULTS: BOO WILLIAMS BEATS TAKEOVER IN 16U “CHIP”! PLAYAZ BEATS BALTIMORE ELITE IN 14U”CHIP”

Wayne Pal  Wayne,NJ…… In the Playaz Spring Fling Open Period Boo Williams(Va) strong play throughout the weekend resulted in them winning the Tournament by defeating Team Takeover(DC) 73-56!

Devante Gardner scored 15 points and Christopher Orlina added 15 points to lead Boo to “Chip”! Keith Stagg who scored 11 points was the game MVP! Takeover was led by Mohammed Kabir with 12! The Playaz 16 team lost in the Semi finals to the eventual champions 98-88 as they got down early and had to fight back the entire game but could not overcome their early deficit! Jamir Harris led the Playaz with 22 points, Leondre Washington had 20 and Pat Andree who scored 30 in the quarterfinal win over Expressions(Mass) finished with 16 points!

The Playaz team took the Championship, beating Baltimore Elite 54-43 behind the outstanding play of Ja’Quaye Jones(far left) who scored 20 points and dished out 6 dimes and Armoni Sexton(left) who added 17 points! The Playaz jumped out early and never looked back!
