 Kennedy H.S. Paterson,N.J…..The Monday Paterson Rec/Playaz Basketball FallBall League had close competitive games and a spectacular individual performance! Hackensack, Paterson Eastside, Mater Dei and C.B.A. pulled off wins! The highlight of the night was the play of Hackensack Senior guard M.J.Richardson! Down 64-63, Richardson(right) scored on a four point play with 3 seconds left as he hit a “triple”and was fouled on the shot to give Hackensack a 67-64 victory! Richardson hit 9 from deep on his way to 38 points! Senior Edward Emedoh added 13 points for the Comets! Ramapo was led by Senior Matt Latka with 23 points! Junior Nhaz Smith(left) scored 22 points to lead Eastside to a 54-39 win over Newark Tech! Senior Mustafa Lawrence led Tech with 16 points! Lehigh commit Senior Pat Andree(bottom right) scored the game winner and finished with 18 points as they narrowly got by American History 58-55! Senior Yvens Monfleury led American History with 18 points! Junior Elijah Barnes scored 15 points and Sophomore Brad Dervishaj(bottom left) added 10 points to lead Mater Dei to a 55-52 win over Bergen Catholic! Junior Gabe Stefanini led B.C. with 15 points while Junior Taj Benning added 12 points!
