GARDENSTATEHOOPS BASKETBALL JOURNAL: MATT LATKA– RAMAPO

Gardenstatehoops third Journal entry belongs to Ramapo Star Senior Matt Latka! The 6’2 All-Bergen player has numerous Colleges interested in him and with his experienced team, Matt seems ready to help leave quite a legacy as a team and as an individual player!  Gardenstatehoops would like to thank Matt in advance for taking the time to give his thoughts on the upcoming Season!

 

MATT LATKA’S JOURNAL ENTRY:

My name is Matt Latka and I am a Senior on the Ramapo High School basketball team. We have ten Seniors, four returning starters and it’s our fourth year with Coach Joe Sandberg. We’ve been working hard to get ready for our first game, Friday December 18th. In addition to our practices, we’ve scrimmaged St.Mary’s, Bergen Catholic, Seton Hall Prep and Linden. These scrimmages helped us work on our plays and different defensive sets. I am confident that this is going to be our most successful year. We have the talent, experience and drive to bring home another League Championship, as well as win the County and State Sectionals. Can’t wait for Friday!
