BERGEN COUNTY JAMBOREE: ST. JOSEPH DEFEATS PASCACK HILLS 51-43!

Senior Nate Garvey(left) scored 17 points and Junior Chauncey Hawkins(right) scored 12 points and dished out 4 assists to help St. Joseph defeat Pascack Hills 51-43 and moved to the finals of the Bergen County Jamboree!

Pascack Hills stayed close the entire contest and led early as St.Joe’s didn’t take a lead until Junior Joe Radi hit a”triple” in the 2nd quarter! St. Joe’s took a 28-27 lead into the half and the game stayed a one possession game until late in the 4th! Garvey’s jumper in the lane gave Joe’s a 42-39 lead, Pascack Hills Senior Evan Schumur’s two free throws cut it to 42-41 ! Radi’s jumper gave Joe’s a 44-31 lead but Junior Nick Guillemain made two free throws to make it a 44-43 game Hills would not score again and St.Joe’s 7-0 run completed the contest! Radi finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds for St.Joe’s! Guillemain led Hills with 14 points and Schumur added 12 points!
