UNION COUNTY SEMIFINALS: ROSELLE CATHOLIC AND THE PATRICK SCHOOL TO PLAY IN “CHIP”!

Kean University Union,N.J….. The Union County Semifinals had two of the States top teams reach their Championship game as Roselle Catholic and The Patrick School both pulled off victories!011

                                                                           ROSELLE CATHOLIC  56     LINDEN 46

Roselle Catholic had four players in double figures and Senior Matt Bullock  wake up in the 2nd half to lead the Lions to a 56-46 win over a tough Linden team! Bullock (right)scored 10 of his 13 points in the second sta006nza, while Junior Nate Pierre-Louis(bottom right) also scored 13 points with 7 rebounds, Junior Leondre Washington added 12 points and Senior Gilberto Cue chipped in 10 points! Junior Marcellus Livingston led Linden with 19 points, including a “triple” with 1:54 in the game to cut the lead to 50-44! Roselle Catholic was clutch from the line to preserve the win! Sophomore Nazereon Reid finished with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks for R.C.! Sophomore Tavon Jones added 16 points for Linden!

Harvard commit Bryce Aiken scored 16 points to lead The Patrick School to a 66-58 win and a place in the Union County final! Junior Jamir Harris scored 13 points and Junior Marcus McClary scored 12 points as they held on against a game Union Catholic team! The Patrick School took a commanding 49-34 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter but Union Catholic would not quit and cut the lead down to 8 in the 4th! Patrick School made free throws late to finish them off! sophomore Mikey Watkins led Union Catholic with 19 points, Senior Zahir Newell added 16 points and Senior George Pappas chipped in 11 points
