NON PUBLIC A “CHIP”: ST.AUGUSTINE STEAMROLLS DON BOSCO PREP 83-50!

Toms River, N.J…. St. Augustine came out on fire and never cooled off, as they bum rushed Don Bosco Prep to an overwhelming 83-50 win and capture the Non-Public A State Championship!

 American U. commit Saeed Nelson(right) was a blur on the court as he got any and everywhere on the floor and finished to the tune of 30 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds! Junior Justyn Mutts added 21 points, including 4 rim shaking dunks and Junior Austin Kennedy chipped in 11 points! St.Augustine opened up a 49-23 halftime lead culminated on a three point shot from behind halfcourt by Nelson, who could do no wrong! Sophomore Marcellus Earlington was Prep’s lone bright spot in the half as he scored 11 points in the half, which would be his game total! Senior Brandon Anderson finished with 10 points! Junior Walt Hardy pulled down 10 rebounds for St.Augustine as the Hermits dominated the boards! It’s St.Augustine’s first title since 2011!
