GROUP 1 STATE “CHIP”! UNIVERSITY DEFEATS PAULSBORO 63-45!

Rutgers University, N.J….. Senior Zamir Wright scored 29 points to lead University to the Group 1 State Championship over Paulsboro 63-45!

Leading at the half 35-27, University held Paulsboro to 18 second half points and pulled away! Wright scored 20 of his points in the second half! Senior Tariq McKenith added 10 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals! Paulsboro was led by Senior Tyrique King with 18 points and 11 rebounds and Senior John Pelligrini added 13 points and 7 rebounds for Paulsboro! University will play Linden in the T.O.C. Tuesday at 7:30pm in Toms River!
