Orange……… Junior Sterling Gibbs, one of the top rated players in the country scored 33 points and Senior John Caprio added 23 as Seton Hall Prep ended Paramus Catholic’s season 79-60 in the semi finals of the Parochial A playoffs. The Paladins cut the lead to 7 in the 4th quarter but Gibbs(pictured) showed why he is so highly touted. Paramus cathlic got double figures from Junior Justin Harris( 16 pts), Senior Andre Blackwood( 15 pts) and Junior Manny Hernandez( 10 pts).

Note: Hoop Journal would like to acknowledge the seniors from Paramus Catholic. These players have left their mark on the program as witnessed by winning the Bergen County Jamboree “CHIP” this year. Roy Flores, Johnberry Badio, Eddie Johnson, Clinton Chisolm, Brandon Perez, Drew Thomas, Aiden Collins, Jordan Wade and Andre Blackwood can leave full of pride at their accomplishment. Blackwood in particular, has a chance to do some things at the next level. HOOP JOURNAL  WISHES NOTHING BUT THE BEST FOR THESE PLAYERS IN THE FUTURE!
