ST. JOSEPH HOLDS OFF TEANECK 79-76!

Montvale,N.J….In a high intensity, high level game the stars of St.Joseph(Montvale) and Teaneck all starred, but it was the play of a role player that was the difference, as Senior Isiah Charles came off the bench to score 19 points and lead St.Joseph to a 79-76 win over Teaneck!

It says a lot when in a game where Teaneck got 40 points from Star Junior Ja’Quaye James and 29 points from Star Senior Leondre Washington that Joe’s was able to hold on! Star guard Chauncey Hawkins had 21 points for St.Joe’s, but fouled out late in the game! It put Charles in a position to shine! St.Joseph’s Senior Joe Radi scored 17 points, including 5 “triples” and grabbed 11 rebounds, Senior Isaac Hippolyte added 11 points and Sophomore Smith Vilbert pulled down 12 rebounds as St.Joe’s out rebounded Teaneck 37-19 in the contest!
