BERGEN COUNTY JAMBOREE: TEANECK SQUEAKS BY DWIGHT-ENGLEWOOD 55-48!

FDU Teaneck,N.J…. In the best game of the day, Dwight-Englewood made Teaneck grind and fight to earn this win! Teaneck did just enough to pull off a tight 55-48 game!

The score was closer than the final as the teams finished the first three quarters tied! Junior Ja’Quaye James scored 18 points, including 3 “triples”, Senior Adrian Baucom added 13 points and Senior Leondre Washington chipped in 12 points, including clutch free throws late to secure the win! Corey Gordon added 8 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks! The game started with DE taking a 18-8 lead! Teaneck fought back to tie the game at 18 to end the 1st! The teams continued to go back and forth as the score was tied at 28 to end the half and tied at 37 to end the 3rd quarter! Dwight-Englewood excited the crowd on a steal and dunk from Sophomore Tyson Etienne, but two straight defensive blocks by Gordon(pictured) and four free throws kept DE from getting ahead! Etienne finished with 17 points and 5 rebounds, Senior Isaiah Pean added 15 points, while Sophomore Jordan McKoy and Junior Tony DeBellis each finished with 7 points! Sophomore Judah McIntyre dished out 7 dimes!
