NORTH 1 SECTION 4: RIDGEWOOD SHOCKS KENNEDY IN TRIPLE OVERTIME 63-61!

Paterson, N.J….Junior Michael Schretter scored 23 points and Senior Quin Peene added 17 points as Ridgewood outlasted Kennedy 63-61 in three overtime!

Junior Ceasar Silvestro made two free throws in the 3rd OT which proved to be the clinchers! Kennedy was led by Junior Jamir Lattimore with 21 points, Senior Tamir Williams with 13 points. Senior Eric Dean with 12 and Junior Jaylen Colon with 10! Ridgewood will be traveling to North Bergen in the next round! 

 

 

Gardenstatehoops Farewell: Gardenstatehoops would like to acknowledge the ending of Kennedy’s Senior class! Tamir Williams, Joseph Shoulars and Eric Dean were key personel for Kennedy this season! Williams came into his own as a scorer around the rim! Shoulars also was a consistent finisher down low and he was a big time defender in the paint! Dean was a solid long range shooter and his enthusiasm was infectious All three have a chance to play College Basketball with the right fit! Gardenstatehoops would like to congratulate these Seniors and their families on their Highschool careers!
