GROUP 4 STATE FINAL: LINDEN DEFEATS SHAWNEE 57-41!

Rutgers University, N.J… Linden is one of the best teams in the State and after a slow start, Shawnee learned just how good as Linden pulled away enroute to a 57-41 win, a second straight Group 4 State title and third in the last four years!

Junior Mikey Watkins scored 16 points and Senior Khalief Crawford and Junior Tavon Jones scored 15 points apiece to lead Linden! For a half Shawnee was right there as they went into intermission tied at 25! Linden started the second half on an 11-1 run and took control from there! Junior Dylan Deveney led Shawnee with 12 points!
