002St. Peters University  Jersey City, N.J…. Sophomore Zion Bethea and Syracuse bound Jalen Carey led Montclair Immaculate to a convincing win over Hudson Catholic!

Bethea scored 21 points, shooting 8 for 10 from the floor and Carey made two key buckets in the 2nd half to give Immaculate a cushion that Hudson could never recover from! Senior Justin Winston had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds! Ohio St. commit Luther Muhammad led Hudson Catholic who played without All-American Louis King with 15 points, but as a team they did not shoot the ball well! Mcdonald all-American Jahvon Quinerly could not find his shot as he was held to 7 points and Immaculate dominated the glass, outrebounding Hudson Catholic  30-16! Immaculate wil now face Roselle Catholic  March 3rd!

Farewell: Gardenstatehoops would like to acknowledge the Seniors at Hudson Catholic who have played their last highschool contest! Will Brown, Shackylle Dezonie, Precious Ikediashi have been key components for the Hawks for the past two years! Special acknowledgement has to go to Hudson Catholic’s Big 3 of Louis King(#2), Luther Muhammad(#11) and Jahvon Quine034rly(center)! Lou King , the Oregon commit came to Hudson last Season and became an important cog in the Hawks offense! King has become a McDonald All-American and one of the best players in the Country! He missed the last few games of the year and finished the Season on the sidelines due to an injury! Muhammad and Quinerly have been mainstays for the last four years and have done a lot of winning in their Hudson Catholic careers! Muhammad will be lacing them up for Ohio St. and Quinerly will play at the next level for Villanova! It has been a pleasure to watch these two mature into the players they have become and the future is very bright for both! Quinerly has done Hackensack proud and Muhammad has done the same for Newark! Gardenstatehoops hopes nothing but the best for these
