TIM THOMAS NEW YEARS JUMPOFF SESSION 1: ROSELLE CATHOLIC, ST. JOSEPH(MONT.) AND RAMAPO WIN!

007Don Bosco Academy Paterson, N.J…..  In the first Session of the Tim Thomas New Year’s Jumpoff, Roselle Catholic, St. Joseph(Montvale) and Ramapo all came away with wins!

                                                              Roselle Catholic  72     Montclair Immaculate  60

Kentucky commit Kahlil Whitney( scored 24 points and Las Vegas commit Josh Pierre-Louis added 21 points as Roselle Catholic put on a dunk show in their 72-60 win over Montclair Immaculate! J008unior Cliff Omoruyi added 12 points and 6 blocks as well as displaying numerous power dunks! Immaculate didn’t go away quietly as led by Sophomore Amare Marshall, they made numerous runs in the contest to keep the game close! Roselle Catholic closed the show in the middle of the 4th quarter led by 7 straight points from Pierre-Louis(pictured)! Marshall led IC with 20 points! Junior Zion Bethea added 12 points and Sophomore Jayden Brown chipped in 11 points for Immaculate!( Whitney and Marshall with Coordinator Keila Brevard)

 

 

                                                      005St. Joseph 61     Hudson Catholic  57   O.T.

Sophomore Nasir Williams scored 26 points as St. Joseph defeated Hudson Catholic 61-57 in Overtime! Sophomore Daniel Lans added 12, including a steal and bucket to send the game into the extra session! Senior Smith Vilbert added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocked shots for St.Joe’s! Hudson Catholic was led by Sophomore Shane DeZonie with 15 points and FDU commit Danny Rodriguez who added 8 points and 8 rebounds! (Williams and DeZonie)

 

 

                                                                     004Ramapo  66     Marist  63    2 OT

The day started with a double overtime as Ramapo outlasted Marist 66-63! Lafayette commit Neal Quinn led Ramapo with 26 points and 10 rebounds and Senior K.C. Hunt added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals! Ramapo seemed to be ready to take the L at the end of both stanza’s as Sophomore Jack Levy tied the game at 52 by hitting a huge”triple”! The overtime saw Quinn putback attempt send the game into the second overtime at 58! Hunt’s bucket in the Second overtime proved to be the difference! Marist was led by Angelo Santiago with 23 points and 12 rebounds!
