PUBLIC VS PRIVATE SHOWCASE: ST. JOE’S, TEANECK, WAYNE HILLS AND UNIVERSITY WIN!

IMG_9265Montvale,N.J…  The Public vs Private Showcase ran by Coach Ozzie Osbourne took place for Day 2 and saw St.Joseph(Mont), Teaneck, Wayne Hills and University walk away with win!

                                                            St. Joseph  66                Thurgood Marshall  49

Senior Chris Manon(left)) scored 14 points, pulled down 14 rebounds with 3 steals and Sophomore Albert Serrano came off the bench to add 11 points and Junior Dyree Rogers chipped in 10 points as St. Joseph defeated New York’s Thurgood Marshall 66-49! Senior Smith Vilbert(picture) was a defensive stalwart, grabbing 10 rebounds and blocking 5 shots! Senior Jaylen Denny(right) led Marshall with 14 points! Arthur Dukes added 10 points for Thurgood Marshall! The play of the game was a follow up dunk  from Manon!( video above) Manon and Denny were MVP’s for their respective teams!

 

 

                                                          Teaneck  65      Our Saviour Lutheran  52

Freshman DeSean Lecque scored 19 points and Senior Nadame Tucker added 11 to lead Teaneck to a 65-52 win over Our Saviour Lutheran(NY)! Teaneck led by two at the half, but outscored Our Saviour 39-28 in the 2nd half to pull away! Senior Axanti Daniels led Lutheran with 9 points and 7 rebounds! Lecque and Daniels were MVP’s for their respective squads!

 

 

                                            Wayne Hills  51       Dwight-Englewood  36

Senior Jake Belli scored 18 points, dished out 6 assists and 3 steals and Senior Nebi Ademi(picture) added 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Wayne hills to a 51-36 win over Dwight-Englewood! Wayne Hills led the entire way! Dwight-Englewood was led by Merrimack commit Jordan McKoy with 12 points and 11 rebounds! Belli and McKoy(Picture together) were MVP’s for their respective teams!

 

 

                                                          

                                                          University   64                              Paramus Catholic  59

In probably the best game of the day, University outlasted Paramus Catholic 64-59! Sophomore Justin Harcourt scored 18 points and Sophomore Bakir Cleveland added 13 points to lead University!  Senior Joseph Paulillo led P.C. with 22 points and 10 rebounds and Senior Cameron Burns added 15 points! Sophomore Tasheem Anderson(11pts) made 4 free throws late to help clinch the contest! Harcourt and Paulillo were MVP’s for their respective teams!
