BERGEN CATHOLIC HOLDS ON TO BEAT RAMAPO 65-61!

001Ramapo, N.J… Bergen Catholic had to hold on to defeat a ready Ramapo team 65-61!

Senior Jayson Earle(far right) led the way with 19 points and Xavier commit Zach Freemantle added 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocked shots to lead Bergen! B.C. held a 54-40 lead going into the 4002th quarter, but Ramapo fought back in the final stanza behind the play of Senior K.C. Hunt and Senior Neal Quinn! they cut the lead to 54-49 on a banker “triple from the corner from Senior Chris Valvano! Quinn layup made it 56-51, but Junior Matt Zona hit 2 free throws to push the lead to 58-51, but Ramapo fought back to cut the lead to 63-61 with the ball, but the ball was stolen by Freemantle(right) and Senior Doug Edert knocked down two free throws to ice the game! Hunt finished with 26 points and 8 rebounds and Quinn finished with 19 points and 8 rebounds! The win sets up the #2 seed in the Bergen County Jamboree for Bergen catholic and the likely #3 seed for Ramapo!
