Newark Eastside pulled off the trifecta as they defeated Immaculate Conception 69-66 to win the Essex County Championship for the third year in a row!

Senior Nasir Johnson led the way with 24 points and went 10 for 12 from the free throw line! Senior James Paul added 13 points, Junior Mikah Johnson scored 12 points and Senior Nas Amos scored 9 points with 6 assists for Eastside! Trailing by as much as 19 in the 3rd quarter, Immaculate Conception came soaring back behind the play of Junior Elijah Everett! Johnson was clutch from the line down the stretch to hold IC off!
