BERGEN COUNTY JAMBOREE QUARTERFINALS: DON BOSCO PREP, ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL, RAMSEY AND BERGEN CATHOLIC REACH SEMIFINALS!

FDU Teaneck, N.J…..The Bergen County Jamboree Quarterfinals took place today with Don Bosco Prep, St. Joseph Regional, Ramsey and Bergen Catholic advancing to the Semifinals!

Senior Myles Ruth was the best player on the floor in Don Bosco Prep’s 78-57 win over Hackensack! Ruth quarterbacked his team to a convincing win as he stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, 6 assists, 7 rebounds and 5 steals! Senior Brendan Mykalcio added 19 points and 8 rebounds as Prep led at the half 43-26 and blew it open in the 3rd finishing the stanza with a 60-36 lead! Senior Kevin Mateo led Hackensack with 22 points, while Senior Seth Sharif-Brown added 18 points!

 

 

                                                                       ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL  59    RIDGEWOOD  46

Senior Nazir Williams led the way for St. Joseph Regional in their 59-46 win over Ridgewood! Ridgewood was game throughout and battled for most of the contest, but in the end Joe’s pulled away late! Williams led with 17 points and in the process scored his 1,000th career point! Williams layup at end of the 3rd put Joe’s ahead 40-38 which started a 14-5 run that enabled St. Joe’s to take control in the 4th! Senior Ansley Almanor added 15 points and Daniel Lans  chipped in 13 points for Joe’s! Ridgewood was led by Senior Matt Favieri with 17 points and Senior Devin Johnson added 15! They will meet Don Bosco Prep in the Semifinals!

Senior Sean Hansen scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Ramsey defeated Paramus Catholic 63-46! Ramsey jumped out to a 17-5 1st quarter lead and never looked back as they fought off Paramus Catholic throughout! Senior Jaden Quinerly and Senior Brooks Thompson each added 11 points and Senior Jack Farrow added 10 for Ramsey! P.C. was led by Junior Derrick Bueno with 21 points and 10 rebounds and Junior Niko Ruffin with 8!

 

 

                                                                                     BERGEN CATHOLIC  68    PASCACK HILLS  43

Sophomore Will Richardson scored 17 points and Sophomore Julian Brown added 16 to lead a balanced Bergen Catholic attack as they defeated Pascack Hills 68-43! Nine players scored for B.C. as every player played in the contest! Junior Diari Duncan came off the bench to score 12 points for Bergen! Pascack Hills was led by Junior Jake Morales with 15 points and Junior Aiden Kehoe added 13! Bergen Catholic will now meet Ramsey in the Semifinals!
