BERGEN CATHOLIC WINS EASILY OVER UNION CATHOLIC 88-47!

Oradell.N.J… Bergen Catholic outscored Union Catholic 55-27 in the 2nd half as their explosion gave them a 88-47 win over Union Catholic and advance in the North Non-Public A State Tournament!

13 players scored for Bergen, led by Junior Doug Edert(#25) who knocked down 6″triples” on his way to a 24 point performance!  Junior Jalen Leach scored 13 points, Junior Zach Freemantle added 11 points and 8 rebounds and Senior Mike Koch scored 10 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists! Koch(near) started BC off right from the beginning as he opened up the contest with a “triple”! Union Catholic stayed around in the 1st quarter, but Bergen Catholic took a 33-20 halftime lead and found their way in the second half for an easy win! Union Catholic was led by Senior Rob Miller and Sophomore Gio Philip with 11 points apiece and 10 points and 6 rebounds from Junior Justin Archer! Bergen plays the winner of Pope John and Don Bosco Prep in the Semifinals!
