BERGEN COUNTY JAMBOREE: CRESSKILL AND DON BOSCO PREP ADVANCE!

FDU Hackensack, N,J… The Bergen County Jamboree had Cresskill and Don Bosco Prep  advance to the Jamboree Semifinals!

Senior Luca Radovich’s “triple” with 5 seconds left in overtime gave Cresskill a stunning 57-56 win over Hackensack! The game was close throughout as the regulation ended up tied at 50! Hackensack looked as though it would be able to hold on in the extra session but Cresskill fought back each time! After Sophomore Seth Brown went 1 for 2 from the line to make it 55-52, Senior Harrison Lucibello made a layup for Cresskill to cut the lead to  55-54! Senior Toren Portee made 1 of 2 from the line to give the Comets a 56-54 lead! Cresskill came down and after a scramble found Radovich in the corner where he knocked down what proved to be the game winning bucket! Radovich(pictured) led the scoring with 17 points to go with 15 rebounds! Senior George Sikorych added 13 points and Senior Wellington Ventura scored 11 points and pulled down 12 rebounds! Senior Atiba Taylor was valiant in defeat as he scored 22 points, dished out 7 assists with 6 steals for Hackensack! Portee added 16 points for the Comets!

 

 

                                            DON BOSCO PREP  82   DWIGHT MORROW-ENGLEWOOD  61

Senior Marcellus Earlington(far right) scored 31 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead Don Bosco Prep to a 82-61 win over Dwight Morrow! Rutgers commit Ron Harper added 19 points and 6 assists and Junior Victor Konopka (near right)chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds as Prep never was behind and pulled away to a comfortable win! Junior Owen Roberts led Dwight Morrow with 21 points and Junior Martini Martin added 10 points!
