BERGEN COUNTY JAMBOREE: PASCACK HILLS SHOCKS RAMAPO 45-43!

FDU  Teaneck, N.J… In a shocking contest #8 seed Pascack Hills came from behind to upset #1 seed Ramapo 45-43 in the Bergen County Jamboree Quarterfinals!

Junior Nick Guillermain(pictured) steal and layup plus the foul gave Pascack Hills a 44-42 lead with 40 seconds left in the game! After Ramapo’s Senior Ryan Curtiss went 1-2 from the free throw line to make it 44-43 with 29.8 left, Guillermain went 1-2 from the line to make the score 45-43 with 5.4 seconds left! Ramapo’s last shot came up short to give Hills the surprising win! Senior Evan Schumer led the scoring for Pascack Hills with 16 points, including a long “triple” at the end of the 3rd quarter to help them cut the lead to 38-32 and Guillermain added 14 points! Senior Matt Latka led Ramapo with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Senior Joe O’Hagan added 10 points!
