BERGEN COUNTY JAMBOREE: RAMAPO AND DON BOSCO PREP REACH SEMIFINALS!!

Ramapo College Mahwah,NJ….. In the Bergen County Jamboree at Ramapo College Ramapo will face Don Bosco Prep in the first set of Semifinal games:

Senior Matt Grassi (left)scored 16 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Senior Mike Gostkowski(right) scored 13 points including 4 points late in the game to ice it as Ramapo beat Pascack Hills 52-42! Ramapo went on a 10-0 run in the 2nd quarter to turn a 18-13 lead into a 28-13 advantage at the half! Ramapo held off Pascack Hills in the 2nd half! Senior Jordan Lazarus led Pascack Hills with 15 points,while Senior Gavin Murphy added 10 points in the contest!

 

 

 

                                                                                    DON BOSCO PREP 40     INDIAN HILLS 23

  Don Bosco Prep didn’t have it’s best offensive performance so it relied on it’s defense! Prep held Indian Hills to 8 2nd half points in their 40-23 victory! Junior Lonnie Rivera(pictured) led Prep with 14 points as he seemed to be the only one to find an offensive rhythm! The enept offense from both squads produced a 15-15 halftime score! Rivera outscored Indian Hills 9-8 in the 2nd half! George Washington commit Senior Paul Jorgensen chiiped in 10 points with 4 assists, while senior Jack Ely added 9 points and 4 assists! Senior Mike Nowatzky led Indian Hills with 9 points on three”triples” while Senior Ryan Warnet chipped in 7 points! Don Bosco Prep will meet Ramapo next weekend in one semifinal contest! Bergen Catholic will play St. Joseph and Teaneck will go against Glen Rock in the other set of games to find out who the other semifinalist teams will be!
