BERGEN COUNTY JAMBOREE RESULTS: BERGEN CATHOLIC, RAMAPO, ST. JOSEPH AND DON BOSCO PREP REACH SEMIS!

Fairleigh Dickinson University Teaneck, N.J….. The Bergen County Jamboree Quarterfinals resulted in the top seeded teams reaching the Semifinals as Bergen Catholic, Ramapo, St. Joseph and Don Bosco
Prep all made it!

                                                         Bergen Catholic  60             Ramsey  50

Xavier commit Zach Freemantle(right) scored 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, Junior Matt Zona added 13 points and 7 rebounds and St. Peters University commit Doug Edert chipped in 13 points to lead Bergen Catholic to a methodical 60-50 win over Ramsey! Ramsey was competitive throughout led by Junior Sean Hansen who scored 19 points with an impressive 7 blocked shots! Bergen took over the game in the 4th quarterand pulled away! Junior Jaden Quinerly added 8 points and 5 assists for Ramsey!

 

 

                                                                         Ramapo  78    Saddle River Day  60

Senior K.C. Hunt(far right) scored 32 points to lead Ramapo over a feisty Saddle River Day squad 78-60! Junior Max Pernetti(right) added 17 points and 6 rebounds and Lafayette commit Neal Quinn was a stat sheet stuffer with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 6 blocked shots and 4 assists to help hold off Saddle River Day! Ramapo led most of the way, but SRD at one point cut the lead to 39-36 on a “triple” by Senior Nick Eiler! Ramapo answered on a 3 from Senior john Whooley and a putback from Pernetti which gave them breathing room! Eiler and Senior Kyle Ranaghan led Saddle River Day with 15 points a piece! Ramapo will take on Bergen Catholic in one Semifinal contest!

 

 

 

                                                               St. Joseph Regional  81    Teaneck  67

Junior Naz Williams(right) scored 24 points and Junior Dyree Rogers(far right) added 18 points to lead St.Joseph to an 81-67 win over Teaneck! St. Joe’s had to overcome a 31 point, 8 rebound effort from Teaneck Senior Nadame Tucker! Joe’s led throughout as it took a 69-48 lead to end the 3rd quarter and never looked back! Senior Chris Manon scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals for St. Joseph! Freshman Desean Lecque finished with 14 points for Teaneck!

 

 

                                                                   Don Bosco Prep 60    Ridgewood  54

West Point commit Victor Konopka(far right) scored 26 points and pulled down 12 rebounds and Denver U commit Owen McGlashan(right)  added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead Don Bosco Prep to a hard fought win over Ridgewood! Prep had to battle from the beginning as Ridgewood was there the whole contest and their three point shooting in the second half  almost got them the win! Junior Matt Favieri led Ridgewood with 15 points! Junior Devin Johnson added 11 points! Prep will take on St. Joseph Regional in the other Semifinal contest!
