BERGEN COUNTY JAMBOREE: ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL ROLLS PAST BERGEN CATHOLIC 60-45!

FDU Teaneck,N.J… St. Joseph Regional took control of a tight contest in the 2nd quarter and never looked back as they defeated Bergen Catholic 60-45 in a Bergen County Jamboree quarterfinal game!

Senior Nate Garvey scored 17 points and Junior Chauncey Hawkins(pictured) added 14 points, 7 assists and 3 steals to lead St. Joe’s! The game was tight early as Bergen Catholic led at the end of the 1st quarter 12-10! St. Joe’s outscored Bergen 22-9 to take a 32-19 lead at the end of the half! B.C. cut the lead to 39-32 at the end of the 3rd but Joe’s put it away in the 4th as Junior Isaac Hippolyte and Senior Bryan Griffin made their presence felt on both ends of the floor! hippolyte finished with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Griffin had 8 points and 6 rebounds! Bergen Catholic was led by Junior Gabe Stefanini with 15 points and Junior Taj Benning with 11 points! St. Joe’s will surprisingly be playing Pascack Hills in the Semifinals!
