BERGEN COUNTY JAMBOREE: TEANECK BLOWS OUT ST.JOSEPH REGIONAL 76-52!

Ramapo College Mahwah,NJ……St. Joe’s came out fast going ahead 7-0 to start the game and it looked like it might be another Bergen Catholic flashback in the quarters when Joe’s upset them!

But of course, this is Teaneck and they took a 18-16 lead at the end of the 1st and went on a 13-3 run to start the 2nd and turned an 18-16 lead into a 31-19 Teaneck lead! The half ended with Teaneck ahead 43-27 and the game was virtually over! Senior Corrie Brown(center), Senior Lavrone Green-Reels(left) and Freshman Leondre Washington(right) were the catalyst in Teaneck’s eruption! Brown led the scoring with 22 points to go with 6 dimes and 5 rebounds! Green-Reels scored 18 points and Washington added 17 points, 5 assists and 4 steals! Teaneck stretched the lead to 22 to end the 3rd 64-42! Junior Ceasar DeJesus chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds and Senior Myles McLeod had 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots! St. Joe’s was led by Senior Quai Jefferson who had an outstanding Jamboree Tournament with 16 points and Junior Sean McKinless with 15 points! Teaneck meets Don Bosco Prep in the Jamboree finals!
