BOYD LEADS ST. MARY’S TO 66-50 WIN OVER PATERSON CHARTER!

Paterson, N.J….. Junior Nick Boyd scored 25 points to lead St. Mary’s to a 66-50 win over Paterson Charter!

St. Mary’s came into the contest with a 10-0 League record and faced the 9-1 in conference Paterson Charter! St.Mary’s took an early lead and never trailed as they took a 35-19 lead at the half! But they did have scares in the 2nd half as Paterson Charter tried to close the gap, cutting the lead to single digits! Their last opportunity came when St. Mary’s F.D.U. commit Marc Dadika fouled out with 4:26 left in the 4th up 52-41! That’s when Boyd and company held on and extended the lead! Dadika finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks and Senior Colin Hyland added 10 points and 7 rebounds! Junior Rajah Cameron lead Charter with 17 points, while Sophomore Caleb Ruffin added 13 points for Paterson Charter!
