BRIGGS LEADS KENNEDY TO A 68-52 WIN OVER EASTSIDE!

Eastside H.S. Paterson,N.J… Sophomore Jay’quan Briggs came off the bench to lead Kennedy to a decisive 68-52 win over rival Eastside!

Briggs, in his second game back to the team had 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals to lead the Knights! Kennedy got off fast with a 10-0 lead to start the game and finished the 1st quarter with a 20-6 lead! Eastside made a run in the 3rd quarter behind the play of Junior Levi Holton and Sophomore Oshmair Majette, but Kennedy took control late in the 3rd and held the Ghost in check the rest of the way! Senior Mark Heber made 5 “triples” and scored 15 points, while Senior Deishon Harrison added 11 for Kennedy! Holton led Eastside with 24 points and Majette added 10 points and 8 rebounds!
