COACHES VS CANCER ALLSTAR GAME: BERGEN DEFEATS PASSAIC 107-105!

Fort Lee H.S., N.J….. The Coaches vs Cancer Bergen County vs Passaic County game turned into a fun event as every player was out there showing their wares and displaying their skill set! With each team making a combined 30 “triples”Bergen, who was down most of the game came back to win 107-105!

Don Bosco Prep’s Omar Mostafa hit a long range “triple” with 6.2 seconds in the game for the game winner! Six players scored in double figures for Bergen led by Hackensack’s M.J. Richardson with 17 points and 9 rebounds! Don Bosco Prep’s Brandon Anderson scored 16 points, Mostafa finished with 15 on 5 “triples”, St. Joseph Nate Garvey and Paramus Catholic’s E.J. Anosike each scored 14 and Hackensack’s Edward Emedoh added 10 points! Passaic was led by West Milford’s Nick DeAngelis with 16 points, Kennedy’s Jordan Rodriguez with 13 points and Passaic County Tech’s Yohanly Ortiz and Wayne Hills Joey Kenny each scored 12 points! Passaic led most of the game and took a 83-77 lead into the 4th quarter! After a lot of back and forth play highlighted by back to back to back to back “triples by Mostafa and Ortiz in the 4th, the teams got serious and tried to get the win!
