DAN FINN CLASSIC: ST. ANTHONY PULLS OFF CLOSE WIN OVER PATRICK SCHOOL 60-56!

012Jersey City Armory, Jersey City, N.J….. The game between St.Anthony and The Patrick School was as hard fought as expected and lived up to all the hype and at the end behind the second half play of Western Kentucky commit Asante Gist, St.Anthony pulled off a close 60-56 win!

Gist(right) made 5 “triples” including 3 in the 4th quarter that were backbreakers to The Patrick School! Gist finished with 23 points,Junior R.J. Cole added 9 points,including clutch free throws late with 6 assists and Senior Javarious Hayes chipped in 9! The Patrick School was led by Harvard commit Bryce Aiken with 18 points and Junior Jordan Walker added 9 points and 4 assists!

Senior Kyle Elliot scored 15 points, Junior Elijah Barnes(right) scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds and Senior Nyke McCombs added 12 points as Mater Dei defeated St.Peters Prep 51-38! St.Peters Prep was led by Junior guard Jordyn Owens with 12 points!

Linden took a 16-6 1st quarter lead and never looked back as they defeated Brighton H.S.(Mass.) 68-55! Senior William Phelps(right) scored 19 points to lead Linden! Sophomore Tavon jones finished with 17 points and Junior Khalief Crawford added 16 points for the Tigers! Brighton was led by Sophomore Jerrod Clark with 16 points and Sophomore Mykel Derrring with 11!

Lehigh commit Patrick Andree scored 22 points and Senior Jack McGuire(right) finished with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists as C.B.A. shocked Bergen Catholic 68-43! CBA took an early lead but Bergen came back to close the gap 27-23 at the half! CBA began the 3rd the same as the 1st, but this time the run never stopped as they outscored BC 41-20 in the second half and never looked back! Junior Gabe Stefanini led Bergen Catholic with 12 points!
