DEPAUL BEATS KENNEDY 59-49 IN O.T.!

Kennedy H.S., Paterson,N.J….. In a raucous back and forth game DePaul went on a 12-2 run in overtime to defeat Kennedy 59-49! In a wild last 18 seconds, Kennedy had the ball and turned it over with 6 seconds left! DePaul then got the ball and preceded to turn the ball over themselves with the clock not moving which gave Kennedy a chance to win the game! Freshman Alphonso Gee’s jumper was off to send the game into overtime! That’s when DePaul took control! Senior Sanders Green(right) scored 18 points to lead DePaul and Junior Juwaun Carter(left) added 17! Gee led the scoring for Kennedy with 17 points!
