DON BOSCO PREP DEFEATS BERGEN CATHOLIC 54-48!

Ramsey, N.J….Don Bosco Prep outscored Bergen Catholic 18-5 in the 4th quarter to go on to a 54-48 win!

Freshman Akil Watson(pictured) led Prep with 13 points, Junior Joe Carroll added 11 points and Senior Isaiah Williams chipped in 10! Bergen led 43-36 after the 3rd, but Prep came out in the 4th as Senior Myles Ruth re-entered the game after being in foul trouble and help control the contest! He finished with 9 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals and made the biggest play of the game with a block on defense, then coming down and draining a “triple” to put Prep ahead for good 48-45! He then found Senior Brendan Mykalcio on a layup to extend the lead to 50-45! BC did not score until Sophomore Will Richardson’s “triple” made it 52-48! Richardson led Bergen with 15 points, Matt Zona added 14 points and 8 rebounds and Sophomore Julian Brown finished with 11!
