DON BOSCO PREP DEFEATS CAMDEN CATHOLIC 61-54: REPEAT NON-PUBLIC A CHAMPS!

Toms Rver,N.J… Don bosco Prep held off a game Camden Catholic team to win it’s second consecutive Non-Public A State Championship 61-54!

St.John’s commit Marcellus Earlington led Prep with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Rutgers commit Ron Harper added 14 points and 6 assists! Prep led the entire way and at one point had a 15 point lead 49-34 with 5:42 left in the 4th quarter! Camden Catholic came back behind the shooting of Senior Dominic Dunn! He converted on an and one to make it 51-49 with 2:34 left! 10 points in the final 2:34, including a dunk by Harper sealed the win for Prep! St.Peters commit Matt Herasme scored 10 points with 5 rebounds and did a formidable job guarding Dunn throughout the game! Dunn led Camden Catholic with 18 points, but a lot of it came late in the contest!
