DON BOSCO PREP STEALS WIN OVER HACKENSACK 71-62 IN O.T.!

003Senior Marcellus Earlington(far right) scored 26 points and pulled down 13 rebounds and Senior Matt Herasme hit three “triples” in Overtime as Don Bosco Prep came from behind to defeat Hackensack 71-62 in a game that could be a preview of the Bergen County Jamboree Semifinals!Prep (seeded #2 in the Jamboree) and Hackensack(seeded #3) played an entertaining game as the Comets led for most of the contest! Prep got their first lead of the game with 5:58 left in the 4th quarter on a Earlingto004n three point play to make it 48-47! Youngstown commit Atiba Taylor hit a”triple” to give Hackensack back the lead! Earlington’s two free throws sent the game into overtime! Prep outscored Hackensack 17-8 in the extra session as Herasme(near) hit all three of his “triples”and all 9 of his points in the overtime! Rutgers commit Ron Harper finished with 12 points, while Senior Mike Concannon and Junior Vic Konopka each scored 10 points apiece for Don Bosco Prep! Taylor led Hackensack with 24 points and Senior BJ Saliba added 18 points! Senior Toren Portee  chipped in 12 points and Senior Chandler Williams had an impressive 10 blocked shots in the game for Hackensack!
