EASTSIDE’S JOHNSON BOYS KEY WIN OVER KENNEDY 54-42!

Paterson, N.J….. Eastside got 8 ” triples” from Junior Al-Jumu Johnson and Sophomore Lamar Johnson and 17 points and 7 assists from Junior Nhaz Smith as they beat Kennedy 54-42!

The game was close for three quarters as Eastside took a 41-38 lead into the 4th quarter and proceeded to outscore Kennedy 13-4 in the final stanza! The 1st half saw Al-Jumu(left) knock down 4″triples” and score 12 points to lead Eastside! Kennedy stayed in it as Alphonso Gee also scored 12 points in the half and Senior Tymere McMillan’s three at the buzzer tied the score 28 all at the half! The 2nd half saw Lamar Johnson(right) come out the gate and score the first 9 points on 3″triples” to give Eastside a 37-28 lead! Senior Terra Gatling was a force for Eastside on the boards as he grabbed 14 to go with his 7 points! Gee finished with 16 points and McMillan added 10!
