ENGLEWOOD’S 3.0+GPA CLUB!

Englewood H.S. Coach Ozzie Osbourne is trying to give basketball players more of an understanding of what it means to be a Student-Athlete by establishing a 3.0+GPA Club at his school! The Raiders 3.0+ Club is a way of showing their students that with all the changes in Academic standards to be eligible for College you must establish a better academic mindset in the classroom now! His kids were honored during Public vs Private Showcase! Coach Osbourne is holding his kids to a higher standard so that when they leave his program they are not only athletically ready but academically ready! His goal is for all his players to have 3.0 GPA’s or higher and while it’s understandable that they all may not reach that goal it might give them the discipline to continue their after Highschool education! Congratulations to Coach Osbourne and Englewood H.S. and their belief in their kids to get it done, not only on the court but in the classroom!
