ESSEX COUNTY FINAL: MONTCLAIR IMMACULATE EMERGE CHAMPIONS, 63-51 OVER SETON HALL PREP!

West Orange, N.J……Montclair Immaculate finally pulled off their quest as they defeated Seton Hall Prep 63-51 to win the Essex County Championship!

Hofstra commit Zion Bethea scored 21 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead Immaculate! But the key to the game was the play of their Junior guards Zakai Zeigler(far right) and Jayden Brown(right)! Zeigler scored 15 points, pulled down 9 rebounds and dished out 5 assists and Brown added 15 points, with 12 coming in the 2nd half! Immaculate led most of the game and pulled away late! Senior Mike Curran led Prep with 14 points and Junior Giye Jenkins added 12! The win gives Coach Jimmy Salmon titles in two different Counties as he also had one with Paterson Catholic in Passaic County!
