EX LOCAL PLAYERS SHINE IN COLLEGE TILT!

010Gardenstatehoops watched a Division 1 basketball contest Wednesday night and saw a few ex local highschool players shined! St. Peters University played against Wagner in Jersey City in a good matchup and local players played intrical parts to the outcome!

Wagner won 81-77 in Overtime! Paterson native Alex Morales(far right) was a key player in the game as h002e had an up and down game before fouling out in regulation! The Ex-Manchester Regional star finished with 8 points, 4 assists and 5 rebounds for Wagner! Hackensack H.S. star Atiba Taylor is out for the year for Wagner as he tore his Meniscus and will red shirt the year! St. Peters got a tremendous game from Nutley native Doug Edert(3rd right)! The ex- Bergen Catholic star was St. Peters leading scorer as he had  18 points, knocking down 5 “triples”, with 4 rebounds! Former Eastside H.S. Paterson star Matthew(2nd right) 023Lee also played well for St. Peters as he finished with 16 points including  4″triples”! Woodbury H.S. star Aaron Estrada finished with a bucket, 3 dime005s and 2 rebounds while former Patrick School guard Daryl Banks(near right) scored 6 points in the contest! Gardenstatehoops will be attending more College games that involve ex- local Highschool stars in the future!
