FAIRLAWN CLINCHES TIE FOR LEAGUE TITLE!

Wayne, N.J… Fairlawn outscored Wayne Valley 18-8 in the 4th quarter to pull off a 57-47 win and clinch at least a tie for the Big North-Independent title!

Junior John Burek scored 17 points and Junior Darius Sohikish added 16 points and 5 assists to lead Fairlawn to the victory! The game was close for three quarters as the score was tied at 39 entering the final stanza! Wayne Valley could not make a shot as they scored their first bucket of the 4th with a little over 2 minutes left! Senior Anthony D’Arienzo and Senior Patrick Cronin each scored 13 points for Wayne Valley and Senior Mark Howell scored all 10 of his points from the foul line!
