FALLBALL SPECIAL: ST.BENEDICTS DEFEATS IMMACULATE CONCEPTION!

Don Bosco Academy Paterson,N.J… Saturday FallBall had an added contest as St.Benedict’s played Immaculate Conception in  in an late morning affair!

Although IC competed tough St.Benedict’s, comprised of a minimum of 8 D-1 players wore them down to beat them 71-53!  Junior Matthue Cotton scored 18 points and Senior Bourama Sidibe(far right) was a man amongst boys in the paint as he scored 16 points and blocked 9 shots to lead Benedict’s to the win! Immaculate Conception had trouble with the physicality of Benedict’s but fought hard! Junior Jalen Carey scored 16 points,but the most impressive player for Immaculate was Freshman guard Ray Figures(middle)! Showing poise beyond his years Figures scored 17 points, including 4″triples” in the game! Benedict’s showcased a couple of their young players as Freshman’s Noah Farrakhan(near right) and C.J. Wilcher each showed promising futures as each guard had good moments in the contest!
