GARDENSTATEHOOPS DIARY: STEFAN MINIC—PASSAIC VALLEY Entry#1
Over the Highschool Basketball Season Gardenstatehoops will have a few players chronicle their year by giving some insight to their feelings and the work they put in during their season! Our first one comes from Passaic Valley 6’5 Senior forward Stefan Minic!
What’s up world? Just finished a great practice with my team. We, as a team practice hard each and every day. We take no days off! Our coaches push us to get better every single day. The recruitment has been treating me pretty well, still undecided on where to go. I have a broad range of recruitment. I’ve gotten D2 offers and D1 interest. i’m really open to what schools offer and how they treat me. How’s our team looking? Well, we got four returning starters, including myself and one player graduated last year. So we have the experience down packed, now it’s time for us to live up to the hype and show the world what we can do. A little bit about our team. We got a lot of weapons. Scorers, defenders, hustlers, rebounders etc.. But nothing beats having triplets on your team that are 6’6, 6’5 and 6’4. It’s important we use that in full advantage and build off of it. Our goal is a little bit different, we work on getting better every day. We want to peak at the end of the year before the playoffs so we are ready to face the best teams in the State. This is a little bit of my team and our expectations, but I will be posting more journal entries during the season so you’ll know more about myself, recruitment and my team.. Later.
