STATE TEAM OF THE WEEK—RANNEY SCHOOL

The Ranney School has started the Season with a National Schedule and State showcases and been nothing but perfect at 8-0! Led by their two highly rated stars Bryan Antoine and Scottie Lewis, Ranney has met the challenge so far this early season! They won the John Wall Tournament in North Carolina and had a win against Don Bosco Prep in the Hoop Group Showcase! Coach Taj Holden has his Ranney team playing at a high level! They have a tough one coming up against Bergen Catholic January 12th!(Scottie Lewis and Bryan Antoine)

 

 

NORTH JERSEY TEAM OF THE WEEK—BERGEN CATHOLIC

Bergen Catholic who are carrying a 8-0 record could easily be the State Team of the week! After going to Florida and pulling off two wins, Bergen came home and proved themselves in the state as they defeated the #3 ranked Gill St. Bernard 49-48 in the New Years Jump off! They have one of the best starting five’s in the State led by Xavier commit Zach Freemantle! Coach Billy Armstrong is developing a team that should make a big run in the State the rest of the year and their game against Ranney January 12th will be a major test!(Doug Edert, Jayson Earle, Raejon Figures, Zach Freemantle and Matt Zona)
