GROUP 3 NORTH CHAMPS: TEANECK!!

East Orange Campus, N.J…..   The fifth time turned out to be the charm as Teaneck had been foiled their last four times they reached the Group 3 North “Chip”!

But they finally broke through as Senior Nick Whitaker scored 17 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and blocked 6 shots to lead them to a 48-36 win over Warren Hills and a Group 3 North Championship! Teaneck started off hot as Sophomore guard Ja’Quaye James scored or assisted on the first 18 points of the game as Teaneck led 26-8 at the end of the half! James finished with 8 points and 9 assists, while Junior Jawaun James added 14 points! Warren Hills was led by Senior Anthony Veneziano with 13 points and 7 rebounds and 7 points from Senior Johnny Bamford! Teaneck will now face winslow for the Group 3 State Championship!
