GROUP 4 STATE “CHIP”! LINDEN BEATS ATLANTIC CITY 54-45!

Rutgers University, N.J……. Linden took a 31-17 lead after 3 quarters, then made it’s free throws late to come away with a 54-45 win over Atlantic City and a fifth Group 4 State Championship!

In the process their Coach Phil Colicchio gained his 400th career win! Senior Khalief Crawford scored 16 points, Senior William Phelps added 12 points and Sophomore Tavon Jones chipped in 10 points for Linden! Atlantic City was led by Sophomore Raymond Bethea with 12 points and 10 rebounds! Linden took a 11-9 lead at the end of the 1st quarter and maintained the lead through most of the contest! This is the second tittle in three years for Linden!
