HACKENSACK SUMMER LEAGUE!

 Hackensack,N.J…….The Hackensack Summer League on 2nd St. has been in effect for 27 years and Councilman Dave Sims has kept it as one of the most highly respected Leagues in the State! The Highschool Summer League Semifinals took place and saw Chit Chat Diner defeat Main St. Maintenance and Top Dog Trophy’s beat East Air!

Kennedy’s rising Senior Jaylen Colon(pictured right) scored 24 points and dished out 6 assists and Passaic Tech rising Junior Nick Jourdain scored 12 points, pulled down 8 rebounds and blocked 3 shots to lead Chit Chat Diner to a 60-43 win over Main St. Alliance! Colon scored 17 of his points in the first half! Hackensack rising Senior Toren Portee scored 9 points and Don Bosco Prep rising Junior Victor Konopka pulled down 10 rebounds to help Chit Chat advance to the Championship game Saturday! Ex-Passaic star Jamir Thomas led Main St. Alliance with 13 points and 6 rebounds!

Kennedy’s rising Senior Jamir Lattimore(far right) scored 10 points and assisted on 7 buckets and Kennedy’s rising Junior Avante’ Gilbert scored 13 points to lead Top Dog’s Trophy to a 62-48 win over East Air!  Hackensack rising Sophomore Kevin Mateo led East Air with 13 points and rising Freshman Moshe’ Wilson(near right) showed he will have a special Highschool career as he played well beyond his years! in scoring 8 points and showing the savvy of a veteran! Top Dog Trophy will meet Chit Chat Diner in the finals!
