HUDSON COUNTY FALL LEAGUE: HUDSON CATHOLIC(2), ST.MARY’S AND ST. ANTHONY WINS!

Hudson Catholic H.S. Jersey City, N.J……The new Hudson County Fall League debut and right away had a hot one between Hudson Catholic and St.Peters Prep as the initial game went into overtime! Hudson Catholic came away with the win as did St.Mary’s(Eliz.) and St.Anthony in their respective contests! Senior Marion Williams(right) scored 16 points and Junior Tyheem Burno added 14 points as Hudson Catholic defeated St. Peters Prep in overtime! Junior Mitch Jones led Prep with 11 points! Hudson Catholic then took on Old Bridge H.S. as East Orange H.S. will not play in the League( will be replaced by Lincoln H.S. N.Y.)! Junior Patrick Stryzala  hit 5″triples” and scored 23 points to lead the Hawks to a 55-43 victory! In a game which had the feel of a state championship St. Mary’s held on to defeat The Patrick School 43-40! Senior William R. Sessoms(left) led St.Mary’s with 13 points! The Patrick School was led by Senior Cyril Langevine with 11 points! The last game introduced Immaculate Conception to FallBall play by going up against powerful St. Anthony! Junior Robert Cole(bottom right) scored 14 points and Junior Daniel Mading added 12 points as the Friars rolled past Immaculate Conception 59-29! Sophomore Justin Winston led Immaculate with 14 points!
