IRVINGTON DEFEATS PASSAIC VALLEY 63-51!

 

Passaic Valley H.S. Little Falls, N.J……Senior Moses Pierre (picture) scored 26 points, Senior Nazameir Brooks added 10 points and Senior Karreim Thomas chipped in 9 points with 6 assists to lead Irvington to a 63-51 win over Passaic Valley!

Irvington used it’s quickness to force Passaic Valley turnovers and create layups! Passaic Valley tied the game in the 3rd at 41 on a “triple” by Brian Whitney and P.V. trailed 45-44 to end the stanza! Irvington took control in the final quarter, contesting every shot Valley took as Junior Jhazaire Head blocked 5 shots in the contest! Passaic Valley was led by Sophomore Angel Rodriguez with 14 points and Senior Justin Pagarigan and Whitney each chipped in 12!  Irvington improved to 7-1, while P.V. fell to 2-4!
