JACK REILLY FORT LEE HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT: DEMAREST, CRESSKILL, SNYDER AND PASCACK HILLS WIN!

Fort Lee H.S. Fort Lee, N.J……The Jack Reilly Holiday Tournament in Fort Lee had it’s Semifinals and Consolation Semifinals and saw Demarest and Cresskill advance to the Championship and Snyder and Pascack Hills move on to the Silver bracket “Chip”!

Senior Jake Runyon(top right) scored 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds and Senior Drew Davis came off the bench to hit 4 “triples” and finish with 14 points as Demarest was clicking on all cylinders and blowout Old Tappan 68-28! Defensively The Norseman concentrated on holding down Old Tappan Senior Bryce Nash as they held him to 10 hard earned points in the contest! Demarest led 25-11 to end the 1st half and it was over from there!

 

 

                                                                                CRESSKILL  63     FORT LEE  42

Senior Harrison Lucibello(right) scored  16 points with 6 assists, Senior Wellington Ventura scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds and Senior Luka Radovich added 12 points and 8 rebounds to lead Cresskill to an easy 63-42 win over Fort Lee! Cresskill held a 33-17 halftime lead, but Fort Lee fought back early in the 3rd and trailed 47-29 to end the quarter! Cresskill then pushed the lead back up to begin the 4th quarter and coasted down the stretch! Cresskill will meet Demarest Saturday in the Championship at 7:00pm!

In the closest game of the day Sophomore Christian Kim(right) scored 17 points, including 5 points down the stretch that proved to be the winning points as Pascack Hills defeated Paramus Catholic 49-44! Sophomore Jason Schullman added 10 points for Hills! Paramus Catholic was led by Junior Cameron Burns with 16 points!

 

 

SNYDER  64      BERGENFIELD  55

Junior Daeshawn Emanuel(right) scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Sophomore Rockquan Richburg scored 17 points with 3 steals and Sophomore Corey Manning-Floyd added 13 points and 6 steals to lead Snyder to a 64-55 win over Bergenfield! The Tigers led the entire contest and withstood any type of comeback Bergenfield tried to make! Senior Alex Capellan led Bergenfield with 13 points and Senior Manny Ortiz added 10 points! Snyder will play  Pascack Hills in the Consolation Championship 3:45pm Saturday December 30th
