JINGLE BELLS JUBILEE RESULTS: GILL ST.BERNARD, IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, RUTGERS PREP AND KENNEDY WIN!
Don Bosco Tech Academy Paterson, N.J…..The Playaz Basketball Club sponsored Jingle Bells Jubilee had four tough games with Gill St.Bernard, Immaculate Conception, Rutgers Prep and Kennedy all reaching the Semifinals!
GILL ST.BERNARD 84 PATERSON EASTSIDE 60
Junior Zach Martini(pictured) scored 24 points and pulled down 11 rebounds and Rutgers commit Paul Mulcahy scored 20 points dished out 8 dimes and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead Gill St.Bernard to an 84-60 win over Paterson Eastside! After a slow 1st quarter, in which Gill took a 14-10 lead they slowly wore the Ghosts down! Junior William Soucie added 21 points and Freshman Denver Anglin chipped in 13 points for Gill St.Bernard! Senior Gody Jeannys led Eastside with 13 points and Senior Demonte Johnson added 12 points!
IMMACULATE CONCEPTION 87 DWIGHT MORROW(ENGLEWOOD) 58
Junior Elijah Everett(far right) scored 21 points and pulled down 8 rebounds and Junior Zion Bethea(near) added 16 points to lead Montclair Immaculate to 87-58 win over Englewood! Immaculate had 5 players in double figures as Sophomore Amar’e Marshall scored 13 points, Sophomore Jaylen Brown finished with 12 points and Junior Nick Jourdain added 10 points with 9 rebounds! Sophomore Zaire Rogers chipped in with 9 points for I.C.! Senior Owen Roberts scored 24 points to lead Englewood!
RUTGERS PREP 52 RAMAPO 43
Ramapo played an inspired game, but eventually ran out of gas in losing to Rutgers Prep 52-43! Ramapo lead at the half 30-26 but could only score 13 points in the second half! Sophomore Star Trey Patterson led Prep with 16 points and Senior Kaylen Oweh added 13 points! Senior K.C. Hunt and Lafayette commit Neal Quinn led Ramapo with 15 points apiece!
PATERSON KENNEDY 67 HACKENSACK 54
Senior Avante’ Gilbert(far right) scored 13 of his 15 points in the 2nd half to lead Kennedy to a 67-54 win over Hackensack! Senior Jahmir Tyrell(near) scored all 10 of his points in the 2nd half, including two exclamation point dunks for Kennedy as they scored 25 4th quarter points to finish it out! Junior Steph Brown scored a game high 19 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for Hackensack!
