The Playaz sponsored Just June League got underway today with four contests!Newark Eastside defeated Paterson Kennedy 43-41 as their Freshman crew of Jihad Jenkins, Shamier Johnson and Hassan Ceesay led the way! Hackensack’s Junior M.J. Richardson scored 26 points, but it wasn’t enough as Freshman Luther Muhammad scored 16 points and Junior Marion Williams added 13 points to lead Hudson Catholic to a 57-47 win! Junior Taj Upshaw scored 15 points as Paterson Eastside ruined the Just June debut of Dwight-Englewood 41-38! Incoming Freshman Jordan McKoy scored 12 points for Dwight-Englewood! Teaneck , behind 20 points from Sophomore Leondre Washington and 16 from Freshman JaQuaye James defeated Bergen Catholic 49-40! Sophomore Taj Benning led B.C. with 21 points!
