JUST JUNE RESULTS: IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, NEWARK EASTSIDE, DON BOSCO PREP AND BERGEN CATHOLIC REACH SEMIS!

Roberto Clemente Paterson, N.J…. The Playaz sponsored “Just June” quarterfinals were played and when it was over Immaculate Conception, Newark Eastside, Don Bosco Prep and Bergen Catholic reached the Semifinals!

Rising Sophomore DeJourn Cook(far right) had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead Immaculate conception to a 62-46 win over Kennedy! Rising Sophomore D.J. Mitchell scored 15 points on 5 “triples” to help the IC attack! Rising Sophomore Logan Amir led Kennedy with 4 “triples” and 12 points! Rising Junior Jahid Jenkins(right) scored 12 points and Rising Senior Elijah Olaniyi made numerous plays that were of the D-1 type to lead Newark Eastside to a 69-25 win over St. Peters Prep 69-25! Rising senior Charlie Babin(near right) scored 16 points and Rising Junior Marcellus Earlington added 12 points to lead Don Bosco Prep to a 67-31 win over Hackensack! Rising Senior Mykel Swanston and Rising Junior Toren  added 12 points apiece for Hackensack! Teaneck’s Rising Junior Ja’Quaye James was the best player on the floor for Teaneck, but Bergen Catholic’s balanced scoring overcame James great play as B.C. defeated Teaneck 58-51 ! Rising Senior Gabe Steffanini led BC with 15 points which helped overcome James scintillating 41 point game!  Newark Eastside will play Bergen Catholic, while Immaculate Conception will play Don Bosco Prep in the Semi finals starting ar 4pm!
